Experience includes heavy construction, cable lays, inspection programmes and decommissioning as a Client Representative and previously as a Saturation Diver who sets high standards for himself and others, having a proven aptitude to work well both independently and as part of a team. A highly self-motivated and enthusiastic person who has excellent inter-personal, communication and organisational skills allied to an ability to adapt to different and changing situations and relate to a wide range of people from multi-cultural backgrounds. As an experienced Offshore Client Representative, I act as the client’s eyes and ears on-site, ensuring all offshore operations are executed safely, compliantly, and to the highest quality standards. I bridge the gap between onshore project management and offshore execution teams, providing clear communication, technical oversight, and proactive problem-solving.
Dive Client Representative
Carrying out decommissioning work scopes at the East Brae platform, Devenick SSIV/Manifold, S1,S2 Wells. Responsible for barrier testing, isolations, flushing and pigging operations. Removing weight coat removal and disconnecting/cutting production lines. STATS plug setting/testing and installing isolation end cap. Removing/installing mattress and protection frame installation at end cap. Exposing pipelines, installing magnetic pig signallers (MagSigs). Disconnecting Jumper and Flushing Loop Installation. Installing protection structure at cap and cut locations. Monitoring safety and efficiency of operations. Participating in weekly safety walks, review of MOC’s, PTW requests and daily reporting. Reviewing all the method statements, risk assessments and permits to make sure they are all correct and up to date. Responding promptly and effectively to changing circumstances, planning for contingencies and managing priorities. Implementing a safe efficient and reliable operation ensuring situations are not compromised and operations are carried out in a safe manner conducive to my work ethic. Using excellent communication skills at all levels while remaining dedicated to ensuring and understanding the company requirements and procedures. Dealing efficiently and on own initiative with a high-volume workload. Working flexibly to accommodate the changing needs of the business, working long hours and taking on additional responsibility. Supporting and improving team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices. Adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines, as well as each individual sites rules. Carrying out work scopes including WROV As-Found/As-Left Visual Proximity/MBES/Pipetracker/TSS Surveying Fulmar Gas pipelines and third-party pipelines. Overseeing construction including dredging (ScanMudring Dredger) and trenching operations. Responsible for rock dumping once Tracerco Discovery tool has completed inspection tasks including wall thickness. Overseeing offshore project activities in accordance with contractual HSE and quality requirements. Monitoring safety and efficiency of operations. Attending TBT’s, management meetings, DPR’s. Liaising with onshore Managers, Project Engineers and onboard project third party contractors.
