Building AI infrastructure to modernize impact making

Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland

About

I build AI powered funding intelligence to unlock the true potential of impact making. If you want to learn more about how to unlock the power of AI, building intelligence systems, to make greater impact, then contact me! I am an expert in building AI systems that do this by combining entity resolution, vector search, and multilingual NLP at scale. My path here was not linear, and that is intentional. - As a student, I worked in sales at Apple, taught at ETH Zurich, and grew from accountant to president of a student association. I did this out of curiosity and a desire to see what I was capable of. - I served as an officer in the Swiss Army and led more than 50 soldiers. That taught me that leadership means knowing when to decide and when to empower. - In tech, I worked on cloud systems at IBM, wrote a top graded master's thesis on knowledge graphs, - I built a research-paper recommender engine at INAIT (Microsoft backed) that processed more than 200 million papers with better precision than the largest players in the space. - I am a former competitive volleyball player who reached Swiss championships. Through all these experiences, one principle became clear to me: fall in love with the problem, not the solution. I am now applying that principle to make an impact. If you are a funder, a nonprofit leader, an investor, or someone who cares about transforming how impact capital flows, I would be happy to connect.

  • Co-Founder & CTO at Stealth
    Aug 2025 - Present · 1 yr

Over the past year I built a product from the ground up, and I started where it matters most: with customers. I ran the discovery myself, defining which problem was genuinely worth solving before committing to a solution. Then I built it end to end. A full-stack web application on the front, a complete data pipeline turning messy raw sources into clean, structured, agent-ready data underneath, and the entire intelligence layer on top, the agents and the secure, observable infrastructure they run on. Beyond the build, we run the fundraising and drive customer acquisition. That is the range I care about: understanding a real user problem, engineering the product that solves it, and taking it to market. From first conversation to shipped product to the raise, I own the full loop.

  • Strategic Advisor at Assidu SA - Ticino
    Aug 2024 - Oct 2024 · 3 mos

  • Research Scientist (Knowledge Graphs & Language Models) at INAIT
    May 2022 - Jul 2024 · 2 yrs 3 mos

Leveraging the nature of connected data with language models and graph neural networks. Developed and deployed multiple end-to-end machine learning products from ideation to production, leveraging knowledge graphs and large language models on text data. Focused on building reproducible, scalable, and high-performing recommender systems, including a system for a leading scientific publisher that achieved a 90% user preference rate and reduced outreach campaign time from weeks to hours. Engaged in applied research to tackle complex problems and drive innovation, staying current with ML advancements and integrating new techniques into production-ready products. Additionally, implemented various ML infrastructure tools to streamline the ML product pipeline, including experiment tracking, model preparation tools, MLOps platforms, and dynamic scaling solutions.

  • IBM (3 yrs)
    • Graph Neural Network and Knowledge Graph Researcher
      Feb 2021 - Sep 2021 · 8 mos

At IBM Research I worked on my Master's thesis. I developed GrafAE, a knowledge graph completion framework for multi-relational knowledge graphs. This framework integrates five knowledge graph embedding models and two autoencoder models, which can be combined to create eight additional novel models. Performance, measured by mean reciprocal rank (MRR) and hits at k (Hits@K), showed significant improvements. This work earned me the highest grade.

    • Software Engineer
      Oct 2018 - Mar 2021 · 2 yrs 6 mos

Contributed to multiple cloud-based solutions utilizing microservice architecture and full-stack development skills. Key projects include developing an orchestration service that used OCR to digitize drug prescriptions, significantly reducing delivery times for continuous glucose monitors. Additionally, worked on automating meeting minutes tracking, task identification, and assignment through speech recognition and natural language processing, as well as contributing to a real-time speech-to-speech translation service for seamless cross-language communication.
