Key Responsibility Areas • Provision of SITA Services to National and Provincial Departments, Local Authorities, NGO’s and Organs of State in the Northern Region; • Provide input into the development of Corporate Strategy; • Contribute to the development and ensure implementation of the SITA Provincial and Local Government Service Strategy; • Development and implementation of Regional Strategy and Operational plans; • Promote synergistic strategies, plans and execution in the Region in line with the SITA House of Values; • Decision-making authority over the organisation’s activities with its clients; • Provision of thought leadership for relevant stakeholders; • Manage, monitor and control performance; • Formal contracting through agreements:- Business, Integrating, Service, Operational and Supplier Contracts; • Oversee service delivery to clients within the province in line with contracted Service Level Agreements and Business Agreements; • Monitor and report on project management performance for all provincial projects and or programmes for service delivery benefit; • Ensure provision of technical (infrastructure and applications) and information support for clients; • Ensure the continuous improvement of processes; • New Business Development within the region; • Meet/ increase revenue targets; • Ensure optimal management of resources. (People, Financial, Infrastructure ad Assets) for efficiency and effectiveness; • Develop and maintain relationship with regional IT Industry; • Change management; and • Identification and management of Risk.

Purpose of teh Job: Management of all SITA business activities in the Regions. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Implement SITA corporate strategy and develop regional business plans Effective and efficient management of resources (assets, finance and people) Ensure client relationship management in line with corporate strategy. Promote local economic development in line with SITA strategy Provide strategic leadership for the Region Ensure continuous improvement in the provision of operational service delivery within the Region in line with Business and Service Level Agreements Ensure improvement of business efficiency and effectiveness Ensuring financial viability of business unit Enablement of the IT house of values in the Region OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Knowledge and/or a broad understanding of a multi-discipline/functions. Background and understanding to provide strategically significant input into important areas of the organisation as well as to plan accordingly.
