As the Compliance and Standards Coordinator my role within the Training Team is to assist with the maintenance of route packages, development of training and training material, ensuring each business units’ training requirement are met and legislative compliance is assured by; 1) Auditing locomotive Hasler Tapes and Data Loggers for train management and route compliance. 2) Conducting Train Safety Audits on Pacific National services. 3) Assist in investigations by analysing Hasler Tape and Data Loggers to determine the sequence of events. 4) Compiling Safety Notices notifying the required personnel of any changes to Network Infrastructure changes, Safeworking alterations and Procedure changes. 5) Auditing of the Pacific National Train Management Controllers managing the Boral Rail Network and Inner Harbour NSW Ports Network. 6) Assist with data entry .
As a Trainer and Assessor within Pacific National it is my role to conduct Accredited and Enterprise Training for the RTO in the fields of Rail Operations and Network Control as well as verifying the competence of Train Crew, Terminal Operators and Train Management Controllers/Network Controllers by conducting Competency Assessments on a 2 year basis.
