I am learning skills in anaerobic phage culturing and isolation with host bacteria Desulfovibrio ferrophilus IS5 and Pseudodesulfovibrio profundus. Following which I will try to cultivate and isolate phages of above mentioned bacteria at high pressure, anaerobic conditions from deep-sea water collected from the Tyrrhenian sea off the shores of Panarea, Italy, and deep-sea sediment from Japan.

  • Research Internship at The University of Tokyo
    May 2024 - Jun 2024 · 2 mos
