I have always been a creative person that loves to use my imagination to be able to create something I'm proud of as well as a way to express my thoughts and feelings. Learning what makes people tick, and what draws them to certain products has always been an interest of mine. So when looking for a field of work, Marketing seemed like an opportunity for me to enjoy being creative while also being able to learn about what draws people’s attention and how to appeal to that. Through my search of what skills are helpful in a successful Marketing career, I have been able to experiment with different programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva. Using these programs helped me develop skills that allow me to be more versatile and well versed in many categories that are involved under the marketing umbrella. Through a program called CAPS, I was able to gain an internship with the Show Me Home Realtor Team at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and Select Properties, that turned into a paid summer position. This allowed me to put the skills that I learned in the classroom into practice, and work on my Social Media Marketing skills. I was also able to become a Social Media Intern at Matthias Lot Church where I was over their organizations socials. Through these experiences, I have gained an interest in specifically going into Sports Marketing and am pursuing ways that I can further my knowledge in that field. My teachers and peers would say I'm a good listener, observant, quick learner, hardworking, and have an attention to detail.

In a 3 month period, I increased the account activity by gaining over 800 followers on Instagram and Tiktok, and was part of a team that has gained several thousand followers on Youtube over this time period. Through this experience, I was able to better my time management and communication skills.
I was a Social Media Intern for a realtor group. This position involved making graphics, filming at open houses, and then compiling these graphics and footage together to be uploaded onto Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn, and Tiktok to draw in potential clients and buyers. Through this opportunity, I further developed my communication and collaboration skills.
I was an associate in the St. Charles County CAPS program. This is where I developed my business skills, as well as met with industry professionals that allowed me to ask questions. This allowed me to learn more about Marketing, which I am studying in college.
