As a Senior IT Business Analyst, I gathered and formalized business needs, converting them into IT solutions and vice versa, and liaising between the global IT function and the business unit. To be effective in my field, I created a business plan to support the company's aims, including a project charter and project documentation. Additionally, I was responsible for selecting and deploying IT systems and resources. Moreover, I oversaw the company-wide rollout of Microsoft 365, which aims to allow cloud computing and boost productivity. To hone my leadership skills, I managed the transition from a legacy on-premises system to a Cloud-based one. Because of its size and complexity, the project had a million-dollar budget and would take 12 months to complete. I created the "Equipment Failure Database" solution for the production team, which allowed us to monitor our assets intelligently. The master data consolidation project was overseen utilizing modern data analytics and ETL/ELT techniques. Also, I was a project manager for an integrated dashboard system that provides a 360-degree view of all firm assets to allow complete upstream capabilities.
During my tenure, I oversaw the data management team of 10+ employees to develop and maintain technical information management strategy, policy, processes, and procedures to support the company's reservoir and production operations. Furthermore, I managed the project to develop an integrated data management system for the company's subsurface systems. The restoration cost millions of dollars and took three years to complete. In addition, Qatari natives were hired and trained to contribute to the company's localization effort, ensuring continuity. I also led integration subsurface systems from two large companies, the impact of which was quite significant.
I worked as a Data Services Supervisor. I managed a data management team of more than 30 data analysts, data specialists, records managers, and document controllers to provide technical information management for the company. I identified, designed, developed, and implemented application solutions to support overall information management practices.
