In charge of a week long celebration and educational event for the entire VT campus, entailing months of rigorous planning and organization. We worked to educate the student body about why they should care about the environment and live more sustainably. The week was packed with film-screenings, interactive events, tree-plantings, guest speakers and much more. Some of my responsibilities included holding multiple meetings a week with my crucial leaders, coordinating with multiple organizations in the university and town, balancing and scheduling the events of each day, managing volunteers, marketing the week and gaining publicity.
