A new role created to cover the entire Asia Pacific and Japan region, develop and scale vertically integrated solutions with ISV and SI partners for Industrial use cases. Go led the technology partnerships in the industrial, auto and manufacturing sectors with both established lighthouse / global SI/ISVs and emerging partners in region to help customers wider/faster cloud adoption and business growth / transformation.
As AWS Japan’s first employee to lead solution-focused partner alliances, Goh developed strategies for IoT solutions, later adding Machine Learning (ML) and AI to support a comprehensive data lifecycle approach with AWS partners. He assisted customers in their digital transformation journeys, guiding projects from business pain points to clear KPIs, often involving trial and error and close engagement with CxOs to achieve impactful results with AI/ML ISV partners. Achievements: • Built an AI/ML partner ecosystem from scratch, growing visibility for ML and establishing over 10 partner-led public case studies. • Achieved over 100% year-over-year growth in customer wins from 2020 to 2022, with over 120 wins in 2022. • Led IoT Device Initiative for Japan with strategic partners, listing over 30 devices on AWS’s Partner Device Catalog. • Established an AI/ML Center of Excellence with SIs, resulting in new AI/ML solutions for digital transformation with NRI, SCSK, Sony, and NEC.

Responsible for business and strategic planning to maximize Intel’s consumption units and revenue in Japan, leading the highest priority demand generation program in APJ by managing a cross-functional team. Achievements: • Developed a comprehensive B2B demand generation marketing framework for PCs, servers, and IoT, securing multi-million dollar marketing funds from HQ and selling over 10 million CPUs annually through partners. • Created a new subscription business model for devices by recruiting channel partners like rental and office appliance companies, resulting in significant CPU sales growth (88% YoY increase for rental companies and new sales generated from office appliance companies).
Responsible for product and channel marketing/business development in Japan’s B2B and B2C segments, leading a cross-functional team to maximize personal computing device consumption and develop growth strategies aligned with HQ’s product roadmap from 2015 to 2018, drove innovation by influencing Japanese PC OEMs roadmap and Global PC OEMs go-to-market plan, maintaining excitement and growth in Japanese PC market. Note: Temporally relocated to US HQ in July-Sept 2010 and June-Nov 2012 for HQ product planning coverage Achievements: • Managed a complex product brand transition and established strong “Core i” brand in Japan, resulted up-selling to higher price point. Estimated business impact is around $300-400 million in annual revenue. • Category creation: Launched a marketing program for 2-in-1 devices, Ultrabook(tm) and Intel-based tablets, capturing 15% of the consumer market in July 2014, up from nearly zero the previous year. • Successfully executed multiple product launches in Japan market, Japan specific product lineups, and managed PC OEMs alignment / addressed critical and technical and market specific challenges
Program owner for a mission-critical carrier-grade server platform for NTT DoCoMo’s 3G data backbone, overseeing both internal and external stakeholders, including FSE/FAE, OEM partners, and DoCoMo. • Managed project scope, schedule, quality, and release criteria while aligning with overall milestones and addressing technical and marketing issues related to Japanese telecom standards. Achievements: • Successfully delivered and deployed Intel-based carrier-grade servers with NEC/FJ middleware to NTT DoCoMo, which are still operational. • Received an award from an OEM partner for the Customer Excellence Program. • Ensured continuity of the project during the acquisition by Radisys by transferring best practices and methods.
Note: (MCIWorldcom became MCI, and was subsequently acquired by Verizon in January 2006) • Managed the product portfolio for data center services, including secure managed server solutions, and collaborated with top vendors on advanced network solutions such as disaster recovery and managed hosting. Achievement: Led efforts during Chapter 11 proceedings to rebuild brand strategy and restructure the internet/data center infrastructure. Managed projects to consolidate and migrate infrastructure for optimization while minimizing impact on existing customers.
