Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom
After almost a decade of ministry experience, I am honoured and humbled to have been asked to take on the senior leadership role in our growing church, overseeing both our Bathgate and Edinburgh congregations. Working with our outstanding team of staff, elders, and trustees, I am excited to see the next chapter in the life of Centrepoint unfold as we restore the historic St. David's Church in Bathgate and grow our campus outreach in Edinburgh. Equipping the saints for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12) is the adventure of a lifetime!
Working in both our Edinburgh and Bathgate locations, I oversee pastoral, discipleship, and outreach ministries across the church and serve on the preaching team as we seek to Love God, Love People and Make Disciples.
Following the Covid-19 season, we reconsolidated our team, working as one church in two locations (Bathgate and Edinburgh), transitioning my role from being locally based to church wide.
Working as a property manager at Clan Gordon, my role included overseeing all maintenance work for a portfolio of over 320 properties, as well as being the main point of contact for landlords, tenants, and contractors. In addition, I carried out regular inspections of all properties, and organised safety certificates and HMO licences on an annual basis.
I took the opportunity of a break between jobs to train as an English language teacher (CELTA), and spent a month teaching groups of high school students from Spain, Italy, Germany and Switzerland.
My role as a property manager included organising routine maintenance work, liaising with clients and contractors, and carrying out regular inspections of a portfolio of around 120 properties.
