• Projects – Assisted client with the development and implementation of the Department of Labor fee disclosure project, Retirement Plan Profiles application and Fund/Trust information enhancement project. Responsibilities included interviewing business users to determine requirements; developing business and technical requirements documents; working with business users to review/modify requirements to ensure accurate interpretation of client/user requests; designing, constructing, and performing system testing; identifying, researching and resolving all issues pertaining to system development, data quality and implementation; facilitating project team meetings; and authoring requirements analysis and functional/system specifications throughout the system development life cycle.
• Project at T. Rowe Price (October 2005 – February 2008) – Collaborated with New Business Group, business users & clients to gather business requirements for OmniPlus plan installations. Wrote and tested requirements for development of automated interface processes including contributions, census, salary deferrals, loan extracts and custom reports/datafiles. Analyzed conversion test file specifications to draft and test requirements for automated conversions of external retirement plans. Offsite travel and collaboration with clients, prior record-keepers and 3rd-party consultants. Loaded and manipulated mainframe datasets. Used SQL to query DB2 tables. Created innovative new methods for automating internal plan mergers. Created and tested custom solutions for complex and problematic processes for national clients. Developed and tested various OmniScripts.
• Started the recruiting division of MK Consulting to focus on contingency recruiting of full-time employees in the defined contribution industry. Responsibilities included developing the business case and product strategy; performing market analysis; defining services; developing and executing marketing plan; compiling financial plan; building operations; documenting policies and procedures; hiring, training and managing staff; conducting sales calls; documenting job opportunities; and recruiting candidates. • Managed multiple internal departments including Consulting Operations, Training, Finance, MK Operations, and Human Resources. Responsibilities included strengthening and expanding client relationships; ensuring successful project deliverables; overseeing consulting staff management; defining, developing, and implementing comprehensive training programs; managing finances; overseeing office facilities and systems; and managing human resource related functions. • Handled all corporate finance functions including accounting, payables/receivables, payroll, benefits, invoices, expenses, expense reimbursement, budgeting, consultant rates, internal policies and procedures, bank accounts, taxes, tax returns, filings, cash management, and financial reporting.
