Google Pay. Tech Stack - Java, Scanner, Flutter, Microservices. Created and contributed to multiple microservices to power different areas of Google Pay. Designed and implemented updates to the system that resolves payment keys to a user, keeping into account the recycling possible in those keys. This was part of integrating GPay with a new market payment rails. Created and presented a working prototype for a new idea that GPay leadership wanted to try. Driving cross-functional efforts to sustain and grow market share (MAU/MTU/retention) for GPay India. Collaborating with PM/UX/marketing/analytics/legal on roadmap planning, gap/opportunity analysis, scope & milestone planning, risk mitigation, development, launch, experimentation and extension. Contributing to the Google community by nurturing & mentoring team members and new joinees. Specific areas include Google culture and engineering best practices, among others. Managed and mentored summer interns, guiding them on Google engineering best practices.
The role of a Solutions Engineer at Meta blends product engineering with client interaction. Worked on Meta/Facebook Ads and Signals. Tech Stack - Hack (PHP), React, GraphQL, AWS. Collaborated with the product engineering team to develop a cloud based solution to enable conversions API for the less tech savvy clients - Conversions API Gateway. Later, supported its adoption by providing scaled support to advertisers in APAC. Partnered with sales & strategy teams to help Indian clients achieve business goals through effective adoption of Meta’s advertising solutions. This included working with client’s sales teams on understanding requirements and pitching solutions. Also included working with their tech team on architecture-design in their systems and resolving any concerns related to Meta products. Client verticals included education, travel, fintech, among others. Collaborated with clients across APAC to help them onboard Conversions API. Delivered a public video to scale the adoption of Conversions API. Delivered a public webinar on signals to 215 participants.
The role of a Solutions Engineer at Meta blends product engineering with client interaction. Worked on Meta/Facebook Ads, support surfaces and education surfaces. Tech Stack - Hack (PHP), React, GraphQL, Machine Learning. Designed and implemented projects supporting and educating scaled businesses about advertising on Facebook. Examples included - Learn - lightweight education platform. Machine Learning based recommended articles on help pages. Meta Certification - a third party LMS integration for formal certification.
Tech Stack - Java, AWS, MySQL. Jointly owned the forward logistics systems from scratch. Collaborated with the operations team to understand their process, and to align on an effective technical solution (consisting of apps and web interfaces for different kinds of users), then implemented and deployed it with one more engineer. The system was used by the logistics teams in 8 different cities resulting in significant streamlining of operations.
