Providing detailed technical support to customers during their assessment phase right through production design-in. This includes hardware, software and mechanical integration. Support are both on-site and remote. Working closely with the Applications Team to ensure that customer needs are clearly communicated and understood keeping expectations and delivery requests on track. Being the voice of the customer during internal meetings. Supporting the field returns process as required to achieve effective turnaround time. Adding to future IP developments by playing an active role in applying customer feedback into the product development cycle. Supporting the benchmarking of competing products, through analysis and testing of physical hardware and analysis of datasheets and product documents. Keeping track of progress on internal and customer experimentation and related work through documentation. Organizing documentation to keep accurate records and track items using IT tools (like Confluence). Working with Marketing & Sales to support new opportunities, trade shows, conferences and demo development and supporting in maintaining customer satisfaction.
Actively driving and managing the technology proposal and evaluation stage with the Engineering teams working in conjunction with the account teams as the key technical advisor and system advocate for a wide range of commercial and passenger vehicle applications. Identifying customer platform requirements and working closely internally with Business Units and Systems Engineering. Ownership for driving the resolution of all technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the design in sales process. Investing in product and system level knowledge on an ongoing basis through the various training and development opportunities.
Supporting Communications segment with 5G Sub 6GHz and mmWave Beamforming, RF Timing, Optical Interconnect and Industrial segment with Analog and Power Solutions, Sensors Activities: Driving demand creation and design in activities for our assigned customers, Championing Business development and Design-in activities for assigned customers, Working closely with a local and International Sales Team to develop significant business with key customers as well as through the distribution sales channels, Providing technical support to distribution partners where assigned to certain customers, Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with key designers/architects and decision makers with customers/distribution customers, Guiding designs to closure in accordance with our Design-in targets, Remaining up-to-date on industry trends and standards to stay ahead/anticipate changes in technology and associated business markets, Working closely with R&D group and product lines to feedback market trends/customer needs and to provide support to help define new product concepts and solutions, Documenting and managing opportunities/contact database together with EMEA the Sales Team.
