I am a naturally inquisitive and persevering professional who is keen to provide the utmost value by utilizing the multidisciplinary expertise, international experience and high tolerance to ambiguity, I have acquired in years. In my current role, I focus on encouraging our teams to explore their strengths and make the best of them to achieve the transformation we initiated, ultimately to accomplish our shared vision. It was a tremendous opportunity for me to join Energy Group of Koç Group as a mt in 2003 where I could make much of the core competencies I had gained thus far. I began my career as an engineer, performing wide range of responsibilities from design and cost analysis to international approvals and inspection while directing welding lines and quality technicians. After a year, I was appointed to marketing function where I analyzed global markets, led the projects targeting increase in LPG volumes by new products, including entire processes from market research, industrial design, relations with vendors, and production to regulations, international contracts and sales. I held 2 patents, 12 utility models. I obtained the most successful employee prize of Koç by one of 14 new product launches we did in 2 years. After I was appointed to manage domestic sales, I developed the supply chain system on a digital platform. Subsequently, I began executing sales in Europe, Latin America and coordinated the appliance project in China in 2007. A few months later, I was assigned as the Head of LPG products, leading export managers, teams of foreign trade, logistics, domestic sales and after-sales. We achieved 3 consecutive years of highest exports, gained first government approvals in GCC, conducted largest tenders in M. East and N. Africa, recognized first sales in sub-Sahara. Identifying the business strategy for the factories in Turkey and China were the tasks of my role which turned into being the Head of int’l sales after 3 years and I led the export-oriented growth till 2017, reaching over 50 countries. I have been serving as a board member in DEIK and Turktrade since 2008; achieved the C-Level Assessment of DDI in 2017; learning agility assessment of Korn Ferry in 2019; and been an alumnus of LiderSensin of Koç. My career has always been about growth by new methods, products, co-operations and countries which eventually led to what I am striving for recently, reshaping the culture. As an enabling leader, I offer all aspects of negotiations with strong connections, finding new axes for development, operating with strong results orientation.
