Key Responsibilities: * Spearheads the evolution of existing core into a next-generation core network * Undertakes planning, dimensioning and delivery of the core network in line with capacity management * Maintains a technical centre of excellence for the core network * Supports commercial teams with the development and deployment of products and solutions
Major Tasks and Responsibilities: • Manages a team of 8 Wireless BO Engineers in operating the largest Operator RAN in Ghana. • Proactively monitors customer network health and provides timely information for network risk mitigation or elimination. • Takes part in kick-off meetings with vendors to discuss new product offerings and advise customer • Participates in the recruitment of resources into the project to operate and maintain customer network

Major Tasks and Responsibilities: • Performed Abis/IP configuration on both Ericsson and Huawei BSCs • Performed Gb/IP configuration on both Ericsson and Huawei BSCs • Migrated sites from IP over E1 to IP over FE • Performed IP BTS reparenting (Intra-BSC) • Performed new integration and Configuration, TRX Soft expansion and upgrade • Performed DB parameter changes in line with request from Optimization team • Performed APG43 disaster recovery • Performed license file loading and software upgrade
Major Tasks and Responsibilities: • Performed integration, testing and commissioning of Ericsson MSC-S/VLR, MBC, MGW, HLR • Performed migration from MSC-S pool solution to MSCS-BC pool solution • Undertook troubleshooting of all Core network related issues and performed authorized system restarts/reloads • Performed configuration of B number tables, new routing cases and addition of new routes • Performed APG40/43 System Repair and Disaster Recovery • Performed hardware repairs, SAE, Traffic Data Transcript loading and troubleshooting
Major Tasks and Responsibilities: • Performed routine system backup and transfer to external media • Undertook second-line troubleshooting of faults and alarms in E// core nodes and Huawei BSCs • Performed new node acceptance testing procedures • Provided support for other O & M Engineers
Tasks and Accomplishments: • Carefully analyzed alarms and correctly interpreted them before reporting them • Performed first-line troubleshooting of network faults and alarms • Escalated unresolved network faults to second-line support • Conducted scheduled maintenance activities to minimize technical incidents affecting the business Achievement: • Developed a web application (PHP MYSQL) for NMS Engineers for generating and submitting activity reports over the Company’s intranet.
