It all started with a trip to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2003, laying the foundations for the formation of Saebo UK. Saebo Inc was formed by two Occupational Therapists in 2002, who were surprised by my interest, re: a Physio from across the pond who does upper limb! Saebo UK supply the Saebo range to the NHS, Private Sector and Individuals for neurological/orthopaedic rehabilitation or as functional aids. SaeboGlove, SaeboStimPro, SaeboStimOne, SaeboFlex, SaeboStretch, SaeboMAS (mobile arm support) and SaeboMiniMAS. The evidence for stroke upper limb rehab is early intervention, massive repetitions, meaningful task specific practice, some mirror box therapy and electrical stimulation. We try to follow these principles with our orthotics, electrical stimulators and mobile arm supports.
