- Attending to debt collection matters for schools and doctors. - Basic bookkeeping skills - posting of fees, statements of account to debtors. - Typing of various legal documents, including Letters of Demand, Summons, Warrant of Execution, Security in terms of Rule 38, Notice of Removal, Notice of Sale in Execution, Default Judgement, Articles 65A(1) and Articles 65A(2), Instructing Letters to Sheriffs, Judgement Extracts, Affidavits confirming Registrations, Compliance, etc. - Confirmation of Sheriff jurisdictions. - Obtaining Sheriff's returns of service. - Providing feedback to clients on matters. - Liaising with Debtors to enter into payment arrangements. - Drafting of Acknowledgement of Debt for Debtor to sign. - Calling Debtors to follow up on outstanding or late payments. - Sending statements of account to Debtors monthly. - Conducting address checks to locate Debtors to serve legal documents. - Assisting on Deceased Estate matters. - Liaising with Debtors and Creditors on Estate in order to obtain payments. - Drafting of advertisements, advertising in Government Gazette and local newspaper. - Compiling Liquidation & Distribution (L&D) accounts for final draft by Attorney. - Completing all required documentation and forms on Estate. - Attending to any general administration or ad-hoc duties as required.
