Responsibilities • Conducting experimental work in the areas of micro-fabrication processing and analysis including chemical vapour deposition, physical vapour deposition, plasma etching, lithography, wet etching and cleaning. • Designing, optimising and documenting processes for the manufacture of MEMS, microfluidics and semiconductor devices • Creating and documenting standard operating procedures and providing training for equipment users • Responsible for data collection, storage and analysis of data collected from experiments and standard processes • Providing consultation to researchers and higher degree research students for device process design and improvement • Evaluation, installation, preventative maintenance and repair of fabrication and analytical equipment. • Managing material characterisation laboratory.
