I am a graphic designer with over 28 years experience in all aspects of design for print and visualisation of digital media. I am an energetic and enthusiastic person with an eye for detail, who enjoys responsibility and variation. I enjoy working in a challenging environment using my initiative to generate ideas and follow them through to completion. I can work as part of or be responsible for a team of designers/art workers and manage brand continuity for work commissioned by freelance designers. I can work alone on individual projects, never miss a deadline and thrive whilst under pressure. Currently working as part of the content team of a highly successful private equity backed FMCG company in the pet care sector. I have gained a new wealth of experience of cross functional design collaboration, management training, helping to develop/oversee system processes to support the rapid growth rate of the company in the content team and the wider business. Responsible for the scheduling of designers briefs in, art direction of the team along with my own workload.

      Responsible for the workflow of all artwork requirements and production of on and offline artwork required by the UK’s leading pet supplement company. From small amends to new creatives for print collateral such as packaging, adverts, exhibition graphics, event display materials, product literature and any internal design/artwork required for by the marketing team and Lintbells as a whole. As well as Digital assets which can include website banners, email design templates, social media posts, retail advertising supplied by the company for retailers such as Amazon and Pets at Home. UI design for both the consumer and vet sites for the UK and the US. Responsible for scheduling, overseeing creative output of junior designers and manage brand continuity for work commissioned by freelance designers. Liaising with the marketing team to strategise the marketing plans for this rapidly growing nutraceuticals brand.

    At whitehot creative I work within a small team of designers and report directly to the Creative Director. The majority of the work undertaken by the company is based within within the travel industry although a diverse client base includes literature from the charitable sector to packaging for smoke alarms. Primarily the design and production undertaken by whitehot is for large travel brochures. Although all other forms of design for print are produced, including corporate and brand identity, adverts, exhibition graphics, packaging, direct mail and smaller brochures/ leaflets. Digital design has become a large part of the work being undertaken by the company with e-flyers, social media graphics, websites and digital brochures an increasingly frequent form of services provided to our clients. My main responsibility is to provide creative thinking, design for print and digital artwork inclusive of all aspects of design and production. To liaise with clients and on occasions take the brief directly from clients. On occasion brief and oversee work undertaken by freelance designers. I am personally responsible for image creation and manipulation and print preparation.

    Point One are a medium sized deign company based in Hertfordshire. The main core of the business at my time of employment was design for print which included large and small format brochures, Leaflets, Identity design, exhibition graphics and a large amount of packaging visualisation and production. Web design became an increasing part of the business towards the end of my time at the company. I was one of 4 designers headed by a studio manager although the majority of my direction came from the General Manager. At Point One I increased my design knowledge by being involved with futures packaging design for GSK one of which won the company a large design development contract. I was also involved in print preparation and proofing. I was asked to provide creative input with front end design for websites undertaken by the company.

    Creative line are a small design for print and print management agency with experience in web design. I was initially employed towards the end of my HND qualification on a part time basis as a junior designer. I was then employed full time initially to continue as a junior graphic designer. I was then given greater responsibility with the design, artwork and production of all live jobs. A reorganisation of the business meant I was asked to take on a number of further responsibilities including the general running of the studio. My next role within the business was as Studio Manager which involved greater contact with clients, briefing/overseeing of work undertaken by Junior and freelance designers, print management and estimating of jobs.
