Develop and execute the strategic vision for Amgen Ventures. Maintain and develop strong cross-functional engagement across the organization. Will continue board observer seats and strong ties across healthcare ecosystem and venture capital groups.
Lead investment diligence for corporate ventures including the R&D Seed Fund. In addition to leading operational activities and supporting portfolio management, I am a board observer for several portfolio companies including Obsidian Thx, Celsius, Ribometrix, Inversago, Immunoscape, and Kernal Bio.
In 2014 I joined Amgen Ventures. I am based in Cambridge, Ma prospecting and leading diligence on new venture opportunities. I work across the organization from R&D to Commercial and Digital Innovation to stay current on innovation goals and align venture prospecting activities. Networking with institutions across the U.S. and Canada is a main part of my role in running the Amgen Venture Seed Fund, and work regularly with my colleagues in EU supporting local innovation goals. I am a board observer on several portfolio companies including: Obsidian, Ribometrix, Caraway, Quralis, Enclear and Akili.
Initially with company under a student internship then retained a full time scientific research position.
