Hired as the sole dedicated management resource within the Technology & Product department at Tide Bulgaria. My mandate focused on executive and principal-level talent acquisition, specifically for Principal Engineering and Leadership Product roles, partnering directly with the VP of Engineering and Head of Product. Beyond recruitment, I co-led key employer branding initiatives, including the end-to-end execution of Tide’s participation in jPrime 2024 and strategic optimization of the Glassdoor employer profile. Concluded my tenure voluntarily due to a misalignment between the role’s evolving operational focus and the initial strategic scope discussed during the interview process.
Since my initial start at Estafet as the first recruiter based outside of the UK, I have managed all aspects of the talent acquisition process strategy within the company across EMEA region. I was a manager of two IT recruiters and part of the Estafet management team. I am responsible for the recruitment strategy and execution of Estafet Group, which covers EMEA region. My responsibilities include sourcing, executive search/headhunting, application reviews, interviewing, coordination of the selection process, and facilitating hiring decisions. Since Estafet became a remote-first company, I have expanded my expertise in international recruitment by hiring in Eastern and Central Europe with successful hires in Poland, Germany, Azerbaijan, Romania, Ukraine. I actively recruit back-end developers with Java, Scala, and Python, DevOps Engineers (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, AWS), and QA Automation Engineers with Java & Database (SQL) developers with a strong customer mind and dedication to quality. Apart from those core technology profiles, in Estafet I have successfully sourced and placed a number of permanent employees & contractors for roles such as: React Native mobile developer, manual QA, .NET developer, BI developer, UI developer with Angular/React/VueJs, Data Modeller, Cloud Architect & Engineer (AWS/GCP/Azure), Delivery Manager, Infrastructure-as-Code Engineer and many more. In addition to my resourcing responsibilities, I work on agreed projects in support of HR activity, employer branding & delivery/operations. I am engaged in consistent and regular communication with the technical team & upper management. I report to the COO and the rest of the management team on the recruitment strategy & KPIs. I am also client-faced and work directly with our customers, consulting them on talent acquisition benchmarks & strategies across locations and job markets.
