I am a consultant in adult allergy at the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and a Clinical Research Fellow at the Division of Infection, Immunity and Respiratory Medicine of the University of Manchester. I am the Scientific Program Lead and Secretary of the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology Annual Meetings 2021 & 2022, and I am a member of the BSACI elected Council. I have significant experience in basic research, epidemiologic research and Clinical Trials in Allergy/Immunology. I have been actively involved in the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and I am currently the Chair of the Greater Manchester Central Research Ethics Committee of the Health Research Authority, and a member of HRA's Generic Review Committee.
