I serve as Senior Vice President, Compliance Counsel, for the Legislative Compliance Consulting Practice of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. As the leader of the National Compliance Team, I am responsible for the strategic planning, development and distribution of numerous national publications including Healthcare Reform Update, Technical Bulletin and Directions Newsletter. I also work with our regional compliance teams to develop strategy for the compliance practice. Drawing on 20 years of professional experience, I offer expert insight on healthcare reform regulations as well as other federal, state and local laws impacting the health and welfare of an employer’s workforce. Prior to joining Gallagher, I held a position with a management consulting firm assisting Fortune 500 companies during corporate restructuring events, and also worked as a trial attorney with a nationally recognized law firm. I frequently present on a variety of healthcare reform topics at seminars and webinars for Gallagher clients. I am also a sought-after authority on HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, and cafeteria plans as well as other federal laws that affect employers' health and welfare plans.
