Realfungames was born as spin-off of GiocoDigitale\BWIN to create social games. We have built a real-time gaming platform based on distributed message system, by combining many java/scala open source products and technologies as akka, zookeeper, activemq, websockets, DynamoDB, S3 elasticache, html5 and so on. Our platform uses the AWS infrastructure to achieve horizontal scale, and an homemade automation tool that helps us to build and release whole platform across the AWS infrastructure. Now this game-platform consumes about hundreds millions of messages per day and handle some thousand of concurrent users with few amazon medium machines.
