To co-ordinate the stowage plans of the vessels on a specific network’s route with focus on the max vsl optimization and utilization. Keep the vessel’s schedules within pro-forma ensuring bunker economy, efficiency in port productivity. Optimize speed/fuel consumption & utilization within pro-forma. Coordinate ships berth and work planning with the agencies operation managers. Monitor and improve the terminal and cranes performance for the commercial operations. Suggest schedule’s recovery solutions (ports omission) for delayed vessels to line management. Provide eta/ets and instructions to the vessels. Maintain daily contact with the ship’s Masters. Ensure that the Masters/planners optimize the ballast and bunkers (requests) on board, keeping the minimum safety quantities to maximize cargo lifting. Monitor the bookings to find a proper solution in case of overflow. Monitor allocation by each port and vessel utilization. Control the bunker ops, daily RoB and ship’s request. Liaise daily with chartering dpt for the chartered fleet and C/P clause including the delivery/redelivery notices, on-hire and off-hire survey.
