About

During my career, I built up a solid expertise in synthesis multistep and characterization of organic and inorganic molecules, facing new synthetic challenges in different field such as alkaloids with anticancer activity, organic pigments, metal complex designed for optoelectronic device and anti-inflammatory, all completed with remarkable success, publishing at least one paper for year. I have guided Bachelor, Erasmus and Master Students in their thesis and practical laboratory courses. I have learned a lot, mainly during my Ph.D. in Switzerland, under the supervision of Prof. Fabio Zobi, how to lead an independent research.

Experience

  • Laboratory Assistant at Gnosis Bioresearch SA
    Sep 2016 - Oct 2016 · 2 mos

Preparation of samples for stability test in the form of tablets.

  • PHD Researcher at Université de Fribourg/Universität Freiburg
    Jul 2013 - Aug 2014 · 1 yr 2 mos

Transferred from Zurich to Fribourg. Synthesis of vitamins (e.g. vitamin B12) and porphyrins (e.g. Protoporphyrin IX) derivatives functionalized with metal complexes capable to release gases as CO (carbon monoxide) or NO (nitric oxide) designed either to treat cardiovascular diseases and to suppress the rejection of transplanted heart. Analytical techniques: NMR, Mass Spectroscopy, HPLC, LC-MS, UV-Vis, IR and Elemental Analysis. Studies of cytotoxicity and cellular uptake.
