Acted as Project Manager of a 400MW combined cycle and cogeneration power plant with the responsibility of: - budget control, - project time schedule control, critical path, recovery actions, - claims preparation and negotiation (towards the Client),, - supplier and subcontractors contracts management with the site and construction managers, - claims of the suppliers and subcontractors negotiations, - EPC contract management on behalf of the gas turbine and steam turbine partner (German manufacturer company).
Management of bid preparation with the responsibility of: - examining the tender content both for technical and contractual aspects, - defining the time schedule and the cost of the bid preparation, - managing the multidiscipline engineering team to prepare the bid both for the technical and economical aspect, - controlling the completness of the technical bid, - controlling the costs origins (market investigation, company data base, parametric estimation), - analyzing the contract risks. - controlling the time schedule.
