As a Blue Book Trainee in Unit REGIO.E.1 “Administrative Capacity Building and Solidarity Instruments” of the Directorate-General Regional and Urban Policy I was involved in the: • organization of the 3rd Forum for Managing Authorities: Building Administrative Capacity • organization of the 1st Network for Managing Authorities on administrative capacity building in collaboration with the OECD • organization of a strategic training programme on state aid for Member States’ civil servants in collaboration with the European Institute of Public Administration • coordination of the research project “Study on Roadmaps for Administrative Capacity Building” • negotiation of a service level agreement with DG NEAR for the TAIEX-REGIO Peer2Peer Instrument
Project Manager for the following: • European Commission - DG REGIO, "Supporting capacity building in Metropolitan Areas in Italy's less developed regions" for the Metropolitan Cities of Catania and Messina; • Fondazione Collegio Universitario Einaudi, "Redesign of the Foundation’s administrative processes in view of its upcoming migration from public sector to financial accounting” • Municipality of Venice, “Technical Assistance on the design, implementation and reporting of EU funded projects in the welfare sector under the National Programme Metro+ 21-27” • Municipality of Messina "Technical Assistance on the closure of the National Operational Programme on Metropolitan Cities 14-20 and the programming of the National Programme Metro+ 21-27" Plus, I collaborated to the submission of national (mainly Ministries, Regions, Metropolitan Cities, Municipalities) and international tenders (European Commission and UN agencies), contributing to the drafting of technical proposals, the elaboration of economic offers and the search, negotiation and contracting of subject matter experts.
Main projects: • Development and implementation of an Incident Response Framework for a MENA region country’s energy sector; • Support in the project management and stakeholder management activities related to the creation of an energy sector cyber community in a MENA region country; • Support in the research and production of cyber threat actor profiles and of a heatmap of relevant TTPs used by threat actors for an International Banking Group; • Regulatory analysis for the alignment of an International Banking Group's Incident Reporting processes to the EU DORA Regulation.
Main tasks: • Research and production of socio-economic and political studies, analyses and weekly reports for the Embassy of Italy in Washington, D.C.; • Production of the Consulate General Newsletter; • Support in the organization and stakeholder management of the seventh edition of Ciao Philadelphia; • Support in the management of the official social media accounts of the Consulate.
