Tasks and Responsibilities of the Function • Be the subject-matter expert for all occupational H&S issues and aspects within the ANDRITZ Group • Define Group wide H&S strategies, initiatives and programs, and monitor their implementation through the annual Policy Deployment • Prepare, review and maintain H&S standards (policy, regulations and instructions), as well as facilitate and monitor their implementation • Coordinate and support the Business Areas and the Regional Safety Coordinators in fulfilling their duties • Contribute in the development process of newly hired H&S resources • Cooperate and coordinate with other Group Functions facilitating the integration of H&S in all business processes • Establish, develop and coordinate global H&S trainings in the ANDRITZ Group • Coordinate communication about H&S (eg. ANDRITZ Today, posters, app, etc.) on Group level • Assist the H&S Managers in the Legal Entities in case of fatal and severe injuries • Prepare and distribute Group H&S statistics, reports and assessments • Define a suitable framework for the establishment, implementation and consolidation of a Safety Management System according to international standards (ISO 45001) and good health and safety practices • Develop, implement and review suitable leading and lagging indicators to monitor the H&S performance • Plan, coordinate and/or execute H&S audits and inspections at ANDRITZ’s locations and construction sites • Establish communication routines to ensure continual updating and adequate participation of all stakeholders • Communicate H&S notifications and lessons learned
