Diagnostic engineer for agricultural ECUs. Main job responsibilities: - Synthesize the diagnostic requirements from Systems Engineers into a comprehensive diagnostic definition that aligns with corporate diagnostic normative requirements - Define diagnostic needs for vehicle on-board diagnostics (functionalities within the vehicle) - Develop diagnostic services for off-board external test equipment: Reading and Writing data, ECU I/O Control, Diagnostic Routines, DTCs definition, Diagnostic Session and Security Access management, other - Help into developing of the appropriate set of ECU Diagnostic Trouble Codes - Put all diagnostics data into vehicle technical specifications (using Microsoft Office tools or Vector CandelaStudio CDD format) - Communicate with system engineers and/or suppliers to agree the requirements and ensure that they are fulfilled - Provide technical expertise for diagnostics at development (e.g. testing), manufacturing (e.g. EOL - end of line - programming) and service (after sales) stages - Support the development of manufacturing and in-service tools that use diagnostics Other skills: - Capacity to work unsupervised - Analytical approach to handle problems or specific requests in order to provide a solution - Reliability, precision, ability to plan the work with respect to the deadlines Tools specialization: - Vector CANdelaStudio - Vector CANalyzer - Vector CANdb++ - Vector LIN Network Designer Standards specialization: - KWP2000 - UDS - J1939 - CAN - LIN - ODX
