I was born in 1982 and from 2001 to 2007 I attended the telecommunication engineering classes at the University of Padova obtaining the Bachelor's degree in 2005 and the Master's degree in 2008. During my studies I kept a multi-disciplinary approach in the choice of the classes to attend. This allowed me to remain very flexible and switch between different topics, while being able to dig deep enough into each. Hardware and Software development skills, good understanding of low power wireless systems and telecommunication protocols stacks as well as familiarity with operating principles of various sensor technologies are just a few tools I use every day to do my job. My activities range from the definition and development of PoCs of IoT-based lighting systems and services (in a tight cooperation with the business development and strategy department) to supporting the product realization teams in the integration of new technologies in the new products and current processes.
