Giulio MariaSCOTTO works for the past 20 years in the design and construction management of civil and structural engineering projects. Head of Construction Methods Division, Giulio manages a division of 8 engineers focusing on the development of specialized mechanical tools for optimized erection methods, mainly for 2 type of structures: (1) Post tension concrete structures, and (2) steel structures. Prior to being the Head of Construction Methods Division of Freyssinet Group, Giulio was Technical Manager for Italian contractors involved in numerous steel bridges design for highways / railway. Giulio has contributed to many technical papers that were presented to international technical publications, including the “Bridge Deck Erection Equipment: A best practice guide” by ICE Publishing 2018.
