Con una pluriennale esperienza nell'ambito dell'area intensiva e dell'emergenza, ho acquisito un'ottima conoscenza sulla gestione del paziente critico e dei presidi invasivi e non sia dell'adulto che del paziente pediatrico e neonatale. Da più di un anno ho sentito l'esigenza di allontanarmi da un profilo prettamente tecnico e di occuparmi del malato a 360⁰. Mi sono avvicinato al mondo delle Cure Palliative riscoprendo la fondamentale differenza tra "curare" la malattia e "prendersi cura" del malato. Oggi, dopo aver concluso recentemente il Cerificate of Advanced Studies presso la SUPSI di Lugano in Cure Palliative, ho riscoperto la passione, l'amore e la consapevolezza di aver scelto la professione più bella del Mondo: l'infermiere. E lo faccio presso l'Unita di Cure Palliative dell'Ospedale Italiano di Lugano. With many years of experience in the intensive and emergency area, I have acquired an excellent knowledge on the management of the critically ill patient and of invasive and non-invasive aids, both of the adult and the pediatric and neonatal patient. For more than a year I have felt the need to move away from a purely technical profile and to take care of the patient at 360⁰. I approached the world of Palliative Care by rediscovering the fundamental difference between "curing" the disease and "taking care" of the sick. Today, after having recently completed the Certificate of Advanced Studies at SUPSI in Lugano in Palliative Care, I rediscovered the passion, love and awareness of having chosen the most beautiful profession in the world: the nurse. And I do it at the Palliative Care Unit of the Italian Hospital in Lugano. Avec de nombreuses années d'expérience dans le domaine intensif et d'urgence, j'ai acquis une excellente connaissance de la prise en charge du patient gravement malade et des aides invasives et non invasives, tant chez l'adulte que chez le patient pédiatrique et néonatal. Depuis plus d'un an j'ai ressenti le besoin de m'éloigner d'un profil purement technique et de prendre en charge le patient à 360⁰. J'ai abordé le monde des soins palliatifs en redécouvrant la différence fondamentale entre « guérir » la maladie et « prendre soin » des malades. Aujourd'hui, après avoir récemment terminé le Certificat d'études avancées à la SUPSI de Lugano en soins palliatifs, j'ai redécouvert la passion, l'amour et la conscience d'avoir choisi le plus beau métier du monde : l'infirmière. Et je le fais à l'unité de soins palliatifs de l'hôpital italien de Lugano.
