Mi chiamo Gianni Ruvidotti e sono un musicista professionista italiano e compositore di musica per film con background internazionale. Il mio lavoro è il risultato di 30 anni di studi nel campo del rock, pop, classica e jazz. Ho avuto la grande fortuna di studiare con il maestro Filippo Daccò (direttore del Festival di San Remo per 27 anni), la cui formazione mi ha permesso di diventare un direttore d'orchestra sinfonica, capace di scrivere per tutti gli strumenti dell'orchestra e della big band (trombe, tromboni, sassofoni, violini, ecc) e in grado di padroneggiare le regole per la scrittura dei sottofondi ( background), aspetto essenziale per la musica da film. Per questo motivo, durante i miei anni di lavoro nel campo musicale anche come interprete, ho costantemente accolto opportunità di scrivere jingle per il mercato locale, musica per il settore degli audiolibri e musica per film. Tra i miei maggiori lavori compositivi vorrei citare Ali Bianche (White Wings) registrato nel 1996 con l'etichetta ITW. Nel 2008 ho pubblicato il CD Sinfsofia che è rimasto per 8 settimane nella homepage di I-Tunes. Questo CD è autoprodotto ed i musicisti coinvolti sono stati pagati per l'esecuzione e non sono compresi nei diritti e nelle royalties. Nel 2009 ho registrato allo stesso modo il CD Sea of Love dove ho fuso l'armonia del jazz con il pop e il rock. Vorrei infine completare il panorama con un'ultima produzione del 2011, The Passing of Time, già depositato come compositore alla S.I.A.E., Hospital Swing (arrangiamento per Big Band, due background diversi) e Wonderful Wife del 2012. Nel 2013 ho iniziato a lavorare sulla colonna sonora di un lungometraggio in lavorazione. ( Presente negli esempi ) Nel 2021/22 la Marvellously Modern Film & Theatre Company mi ha commissionato 50 sonetti di Shakespeare da fare le colonne sonore dal rock al jazz al sinfonico .( vedi esempio sotto ) My name is Gianni Ruvidotti and I am a professional Italian musician and music composer for film with an international background. CURRICULUM VITAE GIANNI RUVIDOTTI begins his professional formation at age 11, under the training of a direct pupil of the great classical guitarist Segovia. Attracted by the different musical styles and cultures, he resolves in his junior year to broaden his musical education by joining through a scholarship a U.S. high school jazz band, where he receives 3 awards as best solo player of the band by the N.A.J.E. (National Association of Jazz Educators). In 1996 he successfully concludes his studies at the prestigious academy of Filippo Daccò (director of the San Remo Festival for 27 years), for composition and arrangement, obtaining his final degree in writing for all instruments. Worthy of mention are the excellent performances of 2012 with the renowned bassist Attilio Zanchi. Highlights 2013 Working at an ongoing film production ( Soundtrack ) 2012 Collaboration with Attilio Zanchi ( Live Concerts ) 2011 “The Passing of Time” (Symphony including 3 backgrounds) and “Due Parole” are chosen as sound track for the audio book "Una grata spalancata sul mondo" of Alessandro Pronzato (Gribaudi publishing company). 2009 Music composition for Indena S.P.A. 2008 Publication of “SinfSofia” which stays 8 weeks on the home page of I- tunes.
