Also responsible for relations with Italian banks and surveillance authorities, Banca d’Italia and Ufficio Italiano Cambi. Major accomplishments: first Italian securitization of consumer credits for Ford Credit (Dec. 2002); long-term-rental business divestment through sale to ALD (May 2004); implementation of a new accounting system (PeopleSoft - Oct. 2004); revolving sale of receivables, originated from the sale of new vehicles to dealers, to Merrill Lynch for a value of EUR 1 billion (Jun. 2005).
Consolidation, analysis and presentation of monthly financial results of six business units to board of directors. Led business plan, budget and annual forecast processes for the US market.
Pricing of leasing. Participation to definition of quarterly marketing campaigns of Ford Motor Company for the US market as regard to lease programs.
Pricing the Italian Lira against the US Dollar in the interbanking forward market. Liaising with the Italian Treasury for arbitrages between the domestic and the European market of the Italian Lira.
