As a downstream process engineer, I worked in a project aimed to produce antibody from tobacco plant. I developed hands on experience on AKTA (Affinity chromatography, IEX, SEC, HIC),TFF, centrifugation. I was supporting DSP activities performing analytical assays like SDS-PAGE, ELISA and HPLC. Writing reports was also part of my job.
Erasmus+ Scholarship for research purpose at SDU, Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy, under the supervision of Prof Jasmin Mecinović. The aim of the project was to investigate the chemical basis of histone lysine acetylation by the evaluation of the kinetic profile of peptides bearing unnatural lysine analogues, employing a MALDI-TOF based assay on a set of in-house expressed HATs enzymes. Moreover, I investigated HAT's promiscuity towards different Acetyl-CoA analogues with histone peptides utilizing bioconjugation techniques.
