When I look back at the past, I think it would not be inaccurate to say that I’ve always had a natural inclination for all things technical. As a kid too, I was deeply invested in solving puzzles, building Legos, and participating in Math Olympiads at the first opportunity. But I suppose, what set the ball rolling was when at the age of 13, I chanced upon a JavaScript development class on Khan Academy. This was a transformative experience. It brought me face to face with my calling, my passion. I had made up my mind about making a career in Computer Science. My joining Berea College only furthered my resolve. Thanks to the massive exposure there, I began picking up newer languages and frameworks such as Python, C++, Tensorflow, etc. As a learner, I have always been hungry. I grabbed every opportunity that will add to my professional worth and consequently, I worked on 3 internships while at Berea. The experience was incredible. From the domain of Healthcare to Aerospace, I got to work in all these spaces. The joy of creating something that actually touches the lives of the clients and customers is unparalleled. I am constantly looking for this thrill. I am still hungry to learn and contribute in whatever manner I can. Here’s looking forward to many more such brilliant opportunities that will come my way!
