Throughout my career with Deloitte for more than 18 years, I have helped clients in various industries address a range of issues, including operations improvements, strategy and business continuity. My clients have included large multinational organizations spanning the healthcare, telecommunications, engineering, transportation and retail industries. Since 2011, I have held a leadership role at the Deloitte’s EMEA Accounting and Corporate Tax Compliance Center located in Brussels, focusing on statutory accounting and corporate income tax. Beyond my operational role, I was the responsible talent partner for the entire compliance centre (Belgium & India) with strong focus on recruitment, retention, performance reviews, people management and training programs. Since 2016, I started as an independent interim manager specialised in Financial Management, Operational Management, General Management, Management consultancy and personal coaching. I have a proven track record of large-scale operating experience at the domestic and global levels and have demonstrated courage and confidence to use my leadership roles/skills to drive business transformation. Expertise and consulting focus : I have filled central roles with large global corporations and be involved for several years in delivery for various client engagements, including the operational lead of national and international organizations, finance transformation projects in SSC environments from a daily operational management point of view and been involved from the establishment and implementation of new finance, operational and general management structures until quality improvement and stabilization initiatives for existing finance organizations. • Member of Executive Board team (EB) • Ensure accurate, efficient financial management processes including costs control, budget management, management of financial assets • Report to PE Management team in a strong M&A buy and build environment • Report to CEO the monthly budget variances and spot actions required to manage variances • Support/manage financial due diligence and ensure exit readiness • Lead financial planning across multi-entity (+ 18 legal entities) and multi-divisional structure • Maintain lender relationships • Prepare annual budget, forecasting and monthly Management reports. • Maintain and develop internal controls and risk mitigation • Drive Ebitda and cash flow optimization • Standardize financial processes and align reporting structures

• Part of the Core Leadership Team (CLT) • Advise on key financial matters that impact the business on a short- and long-term period. • Responsible for final reporting and consolidation of the financial results across different countries (US, Romania, Belgium). • Focus on building, guiding, coordinating and motivating the international local finance teams (US, Romania, Belgium). • Analyse and advise on different investment proposals for the different plants and departments • Take the lead in creating the reporting process of the future. • Develop and optimise financial and operational reporting tools, dashboards and KPIs. • Further improve and implement cost controlling based on parameters, such as material cost, labor cost, machine cost, etc.
• Leading and shaping the Belgian Finance team; • Introducing and implementing efficient structures, processes and systems; • Coordinating the budget, (multi)annual forecast and the weekly and monthly performance meetings; • Predicting, tracking and optimizing cash flow; • Ensure continuity, stability and energy back to the finance team after the past turbulent period; • Overseeing financial reporting, audit process and compliance with tax, regulatory and governance obligations • Member of the managing team and be a sparring partner of management and CEO • Provide good insight into sales margins, cost price developments, profitability and investments; • Support and co-operate with the CEO in the overall management of the organisation, improve business performance, maximise growth and profitability, solve issues, etc… • Manage the reporting and moreover the evaluation of the financial results • Provide advice from a financial perspective to the CEO and management team in making strategic decisions. • Managing relationships with external parties (Banks, statutory auditors, lawyers, notaries and tax advisors).
