World Design Systems & Communication Tools • Built a “sticker system” on Miro Board based on four core lore pillars, letting artists assign and maintain distinct tone across each map region. • Created a 3D simulation board on Miro Board (with XYZ axes and modular blocks) to streamline collaboration between design, art, and level teams. • Co-developed the art style guide with the Character Art Lead for consistent visual direction. 2. Narrative & Gameplay Innovation • Illustrated over 200 storyboard frames in 3 weeks to visualize gameplay loops and narrative beats. • Pitched 2 original co-op gameplays + 3 NPC character design — 1 approved, 1 under serious consideration; all offered genre-defying mechanics. 3. Art Direction & Visual Redesign • Partnered with the Game Art Director and Creative Director on biome color scripts, vehicle form language, and world tone. • Delivered 5 orthographic vehicle designs in one day to accelerate 3D modeling. • Helped lead the visual redesign of the game world, using prior studies to establish a new tone and style in one month, with minimal outside input. 4. Level Design Integration • Held weekly 1:1 syncs with the level designer syncing world layout to stay aligned with gameplay needs and provide tailored worldbuilding support. • Collaborated closely to exchange ideas and generate POI designs and traversal plans for key areas.
