About

Gijs' background lies in Biomedical Engineering and Industrial Engineering. He obtained his PhD in Health Economics in 2014. Gijs is currently an Executive Director in the Modeling and Meta-analysis team at OPEN Health. He has experience managing large integrated services projects as well as more specialized projects and has a proven track record of numerous successful reimbursement submissions. Gijs’ main interests lie in solving meaningful puzzles with bright and motivated professionals, the (economic) evaluation of innovative medicines and working at the intersection between HEOR and market access.
