Physician scientist with many years’ experience in academia as a gastroenterologist and professor of experimental gastroenterology. My passion for drug discovery and development led me first to GSK and then Roche where I led drug discovery and development in multiple therapeutic areas and from target identification to phase 3 clinical studies. I now work at Forbion, a leading Venture Capital firm, where I help to establish the portfolio and take an active role in several of the companies in management or as a board member.
