About

After work experience in different fields (Military, HR, Sales, Legal, Startup, Consulting) I applied my skills in Legal Strategy for Business, advising Startups/SME in IT Law, Data Protection and Security. Then I moved to Academia bringing my interdisciplinary background to embrace new challenges in bridging Privacy, HCI, Neuromarketing and AI-related issues. I am performing an MSCA PhD fellowship that focuses on the decision-making process in using technologies such as Digital Assistants (Smart Speakers/Conversational Agents) in IoT smart environments within the framework of Data Protection, Ethics governance and Fundamental Rights. My work aims to provide players with Privacy by Design best practices for the Human-Computer Interaction designing process of services, Apps, and products. I am specialised in Contract Law and Privacy, with a focus on Data Protection and ethical issues in New Tech and related business models. My field of research embraces matters such as: AI, AR, IoT, Big Data, Computational Language, Blockchain, Black-Box explainability and so on, with a focus on Speech Interfaces, Brain-Computer Interaction, Neuroscience, and Bio-tech PROFILE: - Lawyer (Italian qualified Attorney), certified DPO, qualified ADR Mediator: Contracts | ICT and Privacy | IT-Tech Law | Cyber Security | Intellectual Property | Negotiations and Commercial Agreements| Legal strategies for Business | DP/Ethical Governance| DP Business Continuity In brief, this is what I think and how I work: a Lawyer solves problems, but I think a good Lawyer also prevents (and avoids) problems. A Lawyer manages situations, but a good Lawyer also manages people inside situations - Professional interest: Tech Science & IT- fields | New models of Business & Economy - Economic-Legal Strategies | Business planning | Project management & development | Legal issues in New Technologies - Multidisciplinary interests: Economics – Digital Marketing - Psychology & Communication - Neuro-Linguistic Programming

It explores what the EU and US legal positions are on bio-profiling, as well as which are new techniques focused on dynamic biometric features (facial emotions, smell, thought and so on) and genetic characteristics (illness predisposition, bacteria colonies, traits and features etc.). The study will adapt Computational Law's solutions to Privacy by Design to provide stakeholders with a hermeneutical basis for assessing the socio-legal impact of bio-profiling activities and to design the proper policy resolutive approaches.
