Compositor and vfx supervisor with strong artistic and technical skills on creation of realistic images. VES Active Member My experience of 18 years includes mostly feature film projects, since I worked on more than 60 till now, either as compositor, digital environment artist or vfx supervisor. I was three times nominated for the "David di Donatello Award" for the best visual effects in Italy and I'm a member of VES (Visual effects Society). Currently I work at Double Negative London as Compositor. As an artist, I have handled every kind of shot and I'm involved in all tasks: compositing cgi elements over real plates, creating and compositing digital matte paintings, keying, 2D and 3D tracking, 3D projections, works in 3D space and more. I have an eye for colors and i'm keen on details and realism, expecially for set extension shots and environments. Good knowledge of Python scripting, Nuke and tools customization, strong knowledge of Stereo compositing. I created many python tools to speed-up productivity during compositing. Previously as a co-founder at RESET VFX I was responsible for supervising all vfx shots (technically and artistically), ensure the realism and coordinating artists, driving the look development and techniques. I have many experience on and off set dealing with every aspect of visual effects workflow. Working side by side with directors and DOPs I use to previsualize complex shots and oversee set shooting.
