• Coordinate and supervise the work activities at site in order to ensure good performance, minimize cost and meet established deadlines and project specification, respecting safety and quality procedures and standard • Ensure that offshore projects are completed according with client policy procedures Duties • Ensure the interdisciplinary coordination of all the works carried out at site, with regard to the various disciplines/categories of construction and assembly work • Coordinate Program Schedule for works carried out directly/handled by subcontractors, solving contingent problem on board and optimizing the use of materials, work teams and available equipment. • Ensure that all the construction activities are performed in a safe way through rigorous implementation of client HSE requirements. Motivate the crew with regard to the observation of HSE requirements, . • Ensure the continuous implementation of technical and organizational improvements in order to reduce risks at the lowest possible level • Assist and support the Project Team in the solution of the technical and management issues within the assigned area • Participate to the Project Risk Assessment called by the Project Manager • Represent the Project Manager in front of the Client Representative on board in order to discuss project matters, management of change, variation schedule and any contractual implication. • when assigned offshore assist the Master with regard to all the Emergency situations • Coordinate Marine Spread assigned to the site • Ensure that the daily Tool box and JSA, if required, have been carried out according to the procedures • Ensure that the Permit Work system for construction crew is adhered and respected • Be aware of the ISM Code and MLC 2006 in order to ensure the safety at work with regard to the construction crew • Ensure that all documents and work reports, as provided in the contract or required according to client procedures, are issued, up-to-date and stored
Reporting to Operations Director. Responsible for development of project specific marine/site operations methods in coordination of project engineering and project management. Responsible for maintaining a skilled and trained group of operations personnel covering general and special subject areas within the marine, shore based operations areas in support of project packages. Responsible for maintenance and implementation of procedures and practices within own discipline. Responsible to ensure marine operations are be performed safely, in time, and within the specified quality requirements. Support chartering department in sourcing and delivering of appointed marine spread, services and personnel in a fast track fashion. Manage Project Operations Team based in country in order to ensure full support to Project Management Team. Responsible to identify synergies among project packages and optimize the Marine Spread, Equipment spread and Onshore Based facilities. Participate and contribute actively in the project constructability reviews. As appointed will be Leading Incident Investigations and relevant close out follow up.

•Developing and implementing offshore construction/installation standards, planning and processes; •Review and approve of project installation/construction methodology •Direct supervision and management of package Leaders and project engineers in the development of the installation procedures, design of installation aids, specification of subcontractor spread requirements and associated activities •Responsible for the final acceptance of installation procedures as suitable for use offshore •Working in conjunction with the HSE Manager and QA Manager, ensure compliance of installation activities with project HSE and QA targets •Working in conjunction with the Engineering Manager, manage the engineering design and analysis activities for applicable projects •Schedule of installation deliverable and identification of resource requirements to achieve same •Participation in project technical reviews as focal point. •Actively participate in project HAZIDS •Establishing appropriate systems to review and manage subcontractors plans and schedules •Establishing and implementing systems to ensure offshore construction work complies with engineering drawings, design specifications, clients standards and statutory regulations •Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, in consultation with Project Manager and/or commercial group approves expenditure, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services. •Review and recommends contracts and cost estimates (in consultation with Project Manager and/or commercial group). •Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to company management and clients as required from time to time. •Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the HSEQ system in compliance with applicable standards. •Responsible for personal safety and for ensuring work is undertaken using safe working practices. Assist the Offshore Constr. Superintendent with regard to interdisciplinary coordination of all works on board Supervise the team of Foremen with regard to the various disciplines/categories of construction and assembly work,in order to comply with the quality and safety standard Coordinate the construction activities during the shift and all production phases Ensure that the Offshore Constr. Superintendent is kept fully informed of potential problems and construction status Liaise with Chief mate, 1st Engineer and Vessel Equipment Engineer in order to ensure preventive maintenance and construction activities Liaise with Sub-contractor Supervisor (ROV Welding, NDT, and Coating) to optimize smooth production Solve matters related to coordination, priority and interface between the different disciplines in order to meet the scopes of the project Motivate all construction crew/subcontractors with regards to health, safety and environment awareness Ensure the compliance with the standard determined by Saipem QHSE Policy and safety procedures (as specified in the MSM), in order to perform the activity in a safe manner Report near misses and incident Ensure that the Tool box, JSA and RA are carried out as required Ensure the work permit system for the construction crew is adhered and respected Manage the Crane operation activity including coordination with the Chief Mate for main crane movements on board, ROV launching and underwater operation Assist marine operations if required Provide construction report at the end of each shift Assist the Field engineer in the follow up of project equipment and consumable, operation . Ensure the rigging gear used is within date and properly marked . During Pipelaying responsible to coordinate the pipelaying execution and ensure that all parameters are kept within the project approved criteria.
Project Name: Amenam Kpono Client : Total Fina Elf - Supports the construction managers in all their undertakings in construction projects being undertaken - Plan and coordinate construction activities on daily basis - Establish budget and schedule for construcion project - Overseas and coordinate the running of several project packages - Tasked with the duty of assembling project closeout documentation as well as handle plan, schedule and cost control, including monthly project reviews. - Work with construction manager to develop project plan - Coordinate the Construction Punch List Items inputs and relevant close out in agreement with the client. - Interface with Hook-up team in the preparation of Items to be provided for the offshore campaign.
