Global/hybrid category ownership, including strategy definition, RFQs, contract negotiations and supplier governance. Definition and enforcement of qualification standards, SOPs and performance KPIs across regions. Management of complex, high‑value logistics flows with strong focus on risk, compliance and cargo security. Lead interface between Procurement, Commercial, SCM, and Group Security on strategic and escalation topics. Steering of transport providers and forwarders, including corrective actions following incidents or service failures. Strategic reduction of dependency on large forwarders, increasing direct sourcing from asset‑based carriers where appropriate.
Procurement of logistic and transportation services for European and intercontinental flows. Execution of logistics RFXs and contract negotiations with regional and global providers. Close coordination with production, commercial and logistics operations to ensure service continuity and cost control. Management of supplier performance and commercial escalations. Progressive expansion from operational procurement into category‑level responsibilities.
End‑to‑end responsibility for externally sourced logistics services supporting production and sales operations. Mandate to stabilise and restructure external logistics procurement following a compliance‑related incident, with strong emphasis on transparency and governance. Redesign and enforcement of tender procedures, supplier selection processes and compliance standards. Steering and coordination of transport providers and forwarders across multiple transport modes. Responsibility for the Hamburg site gate operations, including access control and interface with logistics flows. Oversight of customs operations and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance. Management of operational disruptions, exception handling, and escalation cases. Interface between logistics operations, production, sales and customs‑related functions.
