Sustainable packaging development.
Upstream developments like new-to-the-world resins used in packaging applications. This included compounding (make resin out of virgin polymer), evaluation of the different processes (injection molding, blow molding, film casting, fiber spinning…), worked together with universities, raw material suppliers and contractors (mostly abroad), attending a lot of conferences and fairs… Also worked as knowledge engineer, providing business information for projects cross Business Units. This included Internet, Intranet, specialized databases and patent searching. -Division Packaging Development Fabric Care: March 03 March 05 Development and qualification of PET bottles for Lenor Brand (supplier developments, pack mat qualifications, plant experience in France and Czech Republic…) -Division Packaging Development Home Care: March 05 May 2007 Development of several packages for Automatic Dishwashing Additives and new designs for Fairy bottles. -Bottle Blowing Capability within Packaging Development: as of May 2007 Development of blow molding packs cross-business units. Big focus on introducing sustainable materials within global bottle portfolio.
