Employed in a fast-changing consulting minded firm, I've been involved in the Italian's biggest initial public offerings (IPO) as well as the development of the Group financial Plan. Working side by side with Evercore, BofA Merrill Lynch and Bain, I had the chance to work on the following activities: - Group budget, business plan and IPO model; - Modelling financials and growth drivers, assessing risk and opportunities applying sensitivities analysis to results; - Coordinate internal actors and external bankers/consultants;
Inside EY I was dealing with corporate finance matters in the context of complex M&A transactions for listed and not listed companies. Main tasks included: - Financial and Business due diligence, assessing the risks and opportunities of a proposed transaction; - Business Plan reviews, focussing on financial considerations such as the integrity of historic and forecast information, underlying earnings, working capital, and cash flows; - Coordinate due diligence (including coordination of cross-border teams) – lead and/or support the various due diligence workstreams on live transactions, helping to assess key investment merits and risks - Lead preliminary analysis of potential investment opportunities – company and market research, financial and valuation analysis, meetings with prospective partners and advisors, industry expert interviews, etc. Main areas investigated: * Corporate - Retail, Manufacturing, Fashion, Media and O&G * Private Equity * Financial - Factoring bank, Card issuing
