After obtaining a master's degree in nanosciences and functional materials from the Lebanese University in 2018, I was recruted as a PhD student in physical chemistry of materials at École National Supérieure de Chimie Montpellier in codirection between two laboratories, IEM (Montpellier) and CIRIMAT (Toulouse). The objective of my PhD work was to elaborate thin films for gas sensing applications. During my thesis, I developed a considerable experience in elaborating thin films with a plasma deposition process (PECVD). In addition, I gained a strong experience in thin films chemical and physical characterization. I also earned a strong knowledge in the characterization of gas sorption mechanism into materials. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at CEA Saclay. I work on a project that aims to develop innovative materials by coupling additive manufacturing (metal 3D printing) and thin films deposition techniques for several applications mainly in the domain of low-carbon energy and environment. Besides, as a researcher i developed other skills such as project management, data analysis and communication.

R&D Standard Owner. - Surface Treatment Network Leader for the POWER Division, providing expertise, support, and solution development on a wide range of surface treatment topics.
