Combining the need for Inventors Brewpub to expand with the site of the original Wisconsin Chair Company purchased by The Blues Factory, presented a unique opportunity to celebrate the role inventors and entrepreneurs have played in building businesses and by extension the communities in which the form. Edison Hall is a celebration of the role a great inventor, Thomas Edison, played in helping the Wisconsin Chair Company launch their "talking machine" furniture line and eventually the Paramount record label, Prost to Inventors Brewpub's continued success.
The Blues Factory celebrates the story of Port Washington's Wisconsin Chair Co. and its legendary Paramount Records label that recorded early blues, jazz and other American roots music.
