Main technical background: set-top-boxes, digital modulation, audio/video compression (mpeg1, mpeg2), memory devices (DRAM, NOR flash), programmable electronics (CPLD), audio/video storage on hard disks, file-systems, time-shift, image processing, interfaces. Software tools in Pascal and Delphi, software drivers in C. - In addition, I have 5 years of experience with patents (national, European, International). I am mainly involved in searching, patentability opinions, infringement opinions, drafting, office actions, in the technical fields of: mechanics, electronics, computer implemented inventions, but also more general fields. - I am also a freelance patent translator (English to Dutch).
